What search work looks like in Ghana
Three quarters of this country is online. Under a quarter of it is on social media. DataReportal's Digital 2026 Ghana report counts 26.3 million internet users, 74.6% of the population, against 8.59 million social media user identities, 24.4%, and you can go and check both. Most marketing budgets here are spent in the smaller room.
That gap is the whole argument for this work. Facebook is still where the attention is, and StatCounter Global Stats put it at 64.83% of all social referral traffic into Ghanaian sites in August 2026, but attention is not intent. Somebody typing the name of what you offer has already decided to buy it and is only choosing who from.
Two Ghanaian details change how the work is done. The country reads on phones and on mobile data. The National Communications Authority counted 28.70 million mobile data subscriptions against 261,938 fibre lines in Q4 2025, so a heavy site is a slow site for almost everyone who opens it. And the site is rarely the till. Statista and ecDB put online retail at 0-5% of Ghanaian retail in 2025, which means search work here is judged by the enquiries it starts, not by a checkout it fills.
What the work is
Four things, and the first of them decides whether any of the others can work at all. Most SEO companies in Ghana skip straight to keywords and rankings, and build every one of them on a site nothing can crawl properly.
Content briefs, and the content production your written scope sets, are part of this service. The boundary on content is drawn by that written scope, produced by the audit, not by a count set before anyone looked at the business.
-
Technical remediation first — audit, crawl, index, speed, structured data
A site that cannot be crawled cannot rank, whatever else is done for it. The work starts by finding what blocks search engines from reading the site at all, and fixing it. Crawl errors, indexing gaps, slow loading, broken structured data.
-
Keyword and search-intent research
What your buyers actually type, and what they mean when they type it. The research separates the searches that buy from the searches that browse, so the site answers the ones that matter. Nothing is targeted on instinct.
-
Topical architecture and internal linking
A site organised so its parts support one another instead of competing. A site can lose to itself, with two of its own entries splitting one query between them, and structure is how that is prevented.
-
On-site optimisation
The site itself, made to answer the intent the research found. Titles, headings, and passages a searcher can land on and immediately recognise as their answer.
How an engagement runs
Four steps, and you hold the document the last three are judged against before any of them begins.
The audit, and a documented baseline
So there is a before to measure against, rather than a starting point everyone remembers differently.
A written itemised scope, within 5 business days
What we are doing, in what order, and what we expect it to change.
The work runs in that order
The order is the scope's, not whichever task looks most rewarding that week.
A written report, every month
Judged against the scope and the baseline, and it says what did not move as well as what did.
Where search ends and answer engines begin
This service is about earning positions in search results. There is a sibling service for the same work aimed at answer engines, making a business quotable when an assistant answers a question instead of returning a list of links.
The disciplines are related and the surfaces are different, so the two are scoped, priced and reported separately.
How long this takes
No date is promised, because no honest one exists before the audit, and rankings are decided by search engines rather than by us.
What we can say is how the work behaves. Search visibility compounds. Technical fixes remove ceilings quickly, and the gains from research, architecture and content build on each other over months rather than days. Your written scope states what each piece of work is expected to change, and the monthly report is where you see progress instead of being asked to take it on faith.
Who this search work is for, and who it is not
This is for a business that already has a site worth sending people to, offers something a stranger would search for by name rather than by brand, and can wait months for a position it then keeps. A clinic, a freight agent, a law firm, a school, an equipment supplier — the buyer opens a search box because they have a problem and no shortlist.
It is not for you if you have no website yet. There is nothing for this work to stand on, and web design is where that starts.
It is not for you if the enquiries have to arrive this month. Search earns attention over time; paid media buys it now, at a price, and that is the honest answer when the calendar is the constraint.
And it is not for you if nobody is searching for what you offer. Some categories in Ghana are bought entirely on referral and on Facebook, and the audit will say so rather than hand you twelve months of work aimed at an empty search box.

What we put in writing
We are new. There are no ranking screenshots and no traffic multiples here, because no engagement has been documented with consent yet, and an anonymous number would be less checkable, not more.
Who does the work
Two parties do this work, and on this service the line sits further over than on any other service here.
The proof is founder proof, not an agency track record — three years of hands-on SEO practice, multiple websites built and ranked across different industries, a Google Analytics certification through Google Skillshop, and continuing training in Google Search Console and Google Analytics. Sector experience is stated by sector, never by name — airport concierge services, dual citizenship and immigration services, third-party vehicle licensing and registration services, e-commerce retail, and large-scale food distribution.
Founder
Kwasi Wiafe Kwapong
The audit, the diagnosis and the search strategy are his own work, and so is the monthly report you are handed. SEO is his core expertise and the reason the whole agency is built around search intelligence.
A vetted delivery network carries out the production the scope calls for -- technical fixes, builds and writing -- under his quality control.
The search work itself, the diagnosis and the direction stay with him.
Questions Ghanaian owners ask about SEO
The ones that come up on a first call about search, answered without a figure nobody could stand behind.
How long before I see anything?
No honest date exists before the audit. Technical fixes can lift a site quickly because they remove a ceiling that was already there, while research, architecture and content build over months. Your scope states what each piece is expected to change, and the monthly report is where you check it.
Can you guarantee I will rank first for my main search?
No, and nobody can. That position is a decision made by a search engine, and anyone promising you a guarantee is promising you a decision they do not own. What is guaranteed here is the scope, the order of work and the report.
I already come up when someone searches my business name. Is that not enough?
That only reaches people who already know you exist. The searches worth winning are the ones where the buyer names the thing they want and not the company they want it from, because those are the people who have not chosen anyone yet.
Do I have to publish blog posts for this to work?
Sometimes, and the audit decides. Content briefs and the writing your written scope sets are part of this service, but the amount is set by what the site is missing rather than by a number agreed in advance.
Will you work on my current site or tell me to rebuild it?
We work on the site you have wherever it can be fixed. If the audit finds a platform that will not let search engines read it properly, we say so plainly and tell you what a rebuild would cost you in time, rather than quietly billing months of work into a wall.
Most of my customers reach me on WhatsApp and Facebook. Is search still worth it?
Often, because the two are not the same audience. DataReportal's Digital 2026 Ghana report counts 26.3 million Ghanaians online and 8.59 million social media user identities. If the audit finds nobody searching for what you offer, we will tell you that too.
What happens to the work if we stop?
It stays with you. The site, the content and every account stay in your name, because they were set up in your name. Nothing here is held hostage to a renewal.
What an SEO company in Ghana costs
Nothing is priced before the audit.
The audit examines where the site stands and produces the written itemised scope and the fee together.
What moves that figure is the size of the problem rather than a tier on a menu. How much site there is, whether a search engine can read it at all, whether the platform allows the fixes the audit finds, how many distinct things you offer and therefore how many searches have to be answered, and how much writing the scope calls for. A small site on a platform that behaves is a different job from a vast catalogue a crawler gives up on halfway through.
If it shows the work cannot move your numbers enough to justify the fee, we say so and decline. Our pricing explains what drives cost and quotes nothing.
