An email marketing company in Ghana for the list you already own.
You paid to win them once. We build the segmentation, the sequences and the sending setup that make the second sale cost you nothing to chase.
Talk to us about email marketingWhen a list you already own earns nothing between purchases
You have the addresses. They came from orders, from enquiries, from a form somebody filled in two years ago.
Meanwhile the budget goes on finding strangers.
-
They sit in a spreadsheet, or in a platform nobody has opened since it was set up.
-
Something goes out when there is news. A promotion, maybe, when a quarter looks thin. In between, nothing.
-
The people who already decided you were worth buying from hear from you less often than the people who have never heard of you at all.
Why an email marketing company in Ghana offers this on its own, not as part of a bundle
Marketing Parasite is an email marketing company in Ghana, and this is where that work is offered on its own.
Email usually arrives as somebody's afterthought. It gets bundled into a bigger retainer, handled by whoever has the platform login, and reviewed when someone remembers. Here it is bought on its own, with its own scope and its own enquiry route, and you can see where this fits in the full service list alongside everything else we do.
We also only take it on when the audit says it is the smallest thing that would work. If your list is four addresses and a supplier, we will say so and point you at the thing that comes first.
What email marketing has to work with in Ghana
Three quarters of this country is on the internet. Under a quarter is on social media. An address reaches the larger group.
DataReportal's Digital 2026 Ghana report counts 26.3 million internet users, 74.6% of the population, against 8.59 million social media user identities, 24.4%. Both figures are published and you can check them. That gap is the whole argument for owning a list. A following is rented from a platform that decides each day how many of your own people see you. An address is a line to somebody who already paid you.
The reading happens on a phone, and on both kinds of phone. StatCounter's Ghana figures for August 2026 put Android at 66.52% and iOS at 33.44%, so a third of the people you write to are reading on an iPhone. An email built for a desktop inbox is built for almost nobody here.
Paying is not the obstacle either. The Bank of Ghana's 2025 Payment Systems Oversight Annual Report counts 26.7 million active mobile money accounts and GH¢4.54 trillion moved in the year. Between a Ghanaian reading your email and a Ghanaian buying, the missing step is rarely the money. It is that nobody asked.
What nobody can give you is a Ghanaian open rate to aim at. No national benchmark is published, so your own first quarter becomes the benchmark, and the report says that plainly instead of borrowing a figure from an overseas software vendor.
Who has a list worth working, and who does not yet
This service assumes you already have people. If you do not, it is the wrong thing to buy, and you will hear that on the call rather than after the invoice.
It is for you if a few hundred people or more have bought from you or enquired, and their addresses are already sitting somewhere. An order export, the shop platform, the booking software, a spreadsheet somebody keeps. It is for you if the same customer can buy twice. It is for you if you are paying to reach strangers while the people who already chose you hear from you once a quarter.
It is not for you if the list is forty addresses and half of them are suppliers. It is not for you if your customer buys once in a lifetime and refers nobody. And it is not for you if what the business really needs is a message that has to be read within the hour, in which case SMS marketing is the right channel and we would rather you spent it there.

Whether the mail arrives at all
Every other kind of marketing can underperform. This one can simply not happen.
A social post that nobody engages with was still published. An ad that nobody clicks was still shown. An email sent from a domain that has not been authenticated is filtered before a human being sees it, and nothing about the writing, the offer or the timing changes that. The message was not ignored. It was never delivered.
So the sending setup comes first, before a single campaign is written. Your domain has to tell the receiving mail systems that you are the one sending, and that anyone else claiming to be you is not. That is configuration work, it is unglamorous, and it is the difference between a programme that runs and a programme that quietly does nothing.
We set it up as part of the work. We cannot promise any particular message reaches any particular inbox, because that decision belongs to systems nobody here controls. What we can do is make sure the reason for failure is never that you never asked to be trusted.
Where the list comes from
A list has to be built before it can be worked, and the fastest honest way to build one is to run paid campaigns that feed an email list rather than pointing them straight at a sale.
That is a different service, bought and measured differently. It is worth knowing the two connect, because a business with no list and no way to build one is buying the wrong thing if it buys this.
What you need ready before the first send
Four things, and none of them is a budget conversation.
The list, in whatever state it is in. An export from the order system, the shop platform, the booking software, or the spreadsheet somebody keeps. Duplicates and dead addresses are expected. Cleaning them is part of the work, not a condition of starting it.
Access to the domain's DNS records. Whoever registered the domain, or whoever hosts the website, can grant it. This is the item that holds jobs up, because the authentication that decides whether your mail is delivered is written there and nowhere else.
An email platform account in your own name, or the decision to open one. You hold it and you pay the provider directly. A dormant account from two years ago counts, and is usually better than a new one.
What you offer, ranked by what it earns. Segmentation is worth nothing until somebody has said which products bring customers back and which are bought once. That conversation happens with you, not around you.
What gets built, in order
Four things, and the first of them decides everything after it.
The list, put into a usable shape
Who bought once, who bought repeatedly, who enquired and never bought, who has not opened anything in a year. That is the segmentation, and it decides everything after it.
The sequences that run without anyone pressing send
A welcome greets a new customer, a follow-up goes out after a purchase, a reminder reaches someone who left something behind. These are the messages that earn while nobody is watching them.
The campaigns that go out on purpose
Written for a specific moment rather than for a slot in a calendar.
The reporting standard
So you can see what happened without taking our word for it.
How email marketing is measured when the list is the asset
We measure what an address is worth over its life, not how many people we reached.
Reach is the wrong yardstick here, and it is the one most email reporting leads with. A list of ten thousand addresses that produces nothing is worth less than a list of four hundred that buys twice a year. The question this service answers is what one address returns across the whole time that person stays a customer, and whether that figure is going up.
That is a slower number than an open rate. List health moves first. How many people stay, how many leave, how many still bother to open. Revenue per address moves last, and it is the one that settles the argument.
A bad month is not a low open rate. A bad month is unsubscribes climbing while revenue per address stays flat, which means you sent more, you asked more, and the list paid for it. When that happens the report says so at the top, rather than leading with whichever number went up.
What is in scope
The work covered by this service.
In scope
- List architecture and segmentation
- Lifecycle and triggered sequences
- Campaign copy and build
- Deliverability and sending authentication setup
- The reporting standard
What is out of scope
The last line below is a refusal rather than a boundary.
What stays in your own account
Three things on this service are yours and stay yours. The platform subscription, the send credits, and the sending domain. You open the accounts and you pay the providers directly, at their price rather than ours.
That matters more here than on almost any other service, because on this one the list is the asset. An asset held inside an agency's login is not an asset you own. If this engagement ends, the addresses, the sequences and the sending reputation you have built stay exactly where they are, and nothing has to be handed back because nothing was ever taken.
Anything paid to a third party is yours, held in your own account. Our fee buys strategy, execution and accountability. We configure and manage what you own. We never buy it on your behalf and we never mark it up.
- Your email platform subscription
- Your send credits
- Your sending domain
What we put in writing
We are new, and there are no logos here, no screenshots of accounts and no numbers from past work, because no engagement has been documented with consent yet.
The one thing no email service can put in writing is inbox placement. We commit to the setup that earns it, and to reporting honestly on what happens. The receiving systems make the final call, and anyone promising otherwise is promising you a decision that is not theirs to make.
Who does the work
On this service the founder does the list diagnosis, the segmentation and the sending setup himself, and no sequence goes live without his read. The delivery network builds the campaigns and runs the sends. That line is published here rather than discovered in a handover.
Marketing Parasite is a digital marketing agency working with business owners in Ghana. The proof behind this work is founder proof, not an agency track record — three years of hands-on practice, a Google Analytics certification through Google Skillshop, and sector experience stated by sector and never by name, across airport concierge services, dual citizenship and immigration services, third-party vehicle licensing and registration services, e-commerce retail, and large-scale food distribution.

Questions we get asked about email marketing in Ghana
The ones that come up before anyone signs anything.
Can you buy me a list of contacts?
No. Purchased lists are out of scope, at any price. What this service works with is the list you already own.
Who pays for the email platform?
You do, and you hold the account. The subscription and the send credits are yours. We configure and run what you own.
We already reach people on WhatsApp. Why email?
Because WhatsApp is somebody else's room and an address is yours. A number can be blocked, a group can be muted, and the rules can change without warning. Email is slower and less immediate, and it is the one channel here where the audience belongs to you.
Is a lifecycle sequence just a newsletter?
No. A newsletter goes out when you decide to write one. A sequence runs on its own when somebody does something, which is why it keeps earning between the moments you are paying attention.
Why are my emails going to spam?
Usually because the receiving systems cannot confirm you are who you say you are. That is what the authentication setup fixes, and it is why it happens before anything is written.
What does email marketing cost?
Nothing is priced before the audit. What moves the figure is the state of the list, how many sequences the business genuinely needs, and whether the sending domain has to be built from nothing.
Am I too small for this?
If you have a list and it is doing nothing, you are the case this service exists for. If you have no list at all, we will tell you to spend the money elsewhere first.
What email marketing costs in Ghana
Nothing is priced before the audit.
No figure will ever appear here either. What the audit prices is the work actually in front of it.
Four things move the number. How large the list is and what state it arrived in, because a clean export from a live shop is a different job from eleven spreadsheets and a notebook. How many sequences the business genuinely needs, which is decided by the number of ways a customer can enter and leave, not by the number a platform offers. Whether the sending domain is already authenticated or has to be built from nothing. And whether you already hold a platform account, since configuring one you pay for is not the same job as opening, migrating into and warming a new one.
What does not move it is what you spend with the platform. Our fee buys the diagnosis, the build and the accountability, and it is the same fee whether your send credits cost little or a lot.
