Part of Websites & Conversion What the build receives

Conversion rate optimization in Ghana that turns your existing visitors into enquiries.

We do not buy you more visitors. We find where the ones you have stop, fix those points one at a time, and measure each change against what it was meant to move.

When the traffic is fine and the numbers still are not

Your site is being found. The analytics say so, and the ads are doing the job you pay them for.

Conversion rate optimization in Ghana is the other answer to that, and it is the cheaper one. Keep the visitors you already have, and fix the reasons they leave without asking you anything. The bill for more traffic grows every month. The reasons people leave sit exactly where they are until somebody moves them.

What breaks
  • People arrive, from search, from ads, from the places you have paid attention to.

  • Most of them leave without doing the one thing the site exists for. No enquiry, no booking, no order.

  • The instinct is to buy more traffic, which multiplies the arrivals and multiplies the leaving.

What this work is part of

This service is one part of the Websites & Conversion foundation of Marketing Parasite, a digital marketing and SEO agency serving Ghana. The foundation exists to turn attention into enquiries, appointments, bookings and orders.

The build comes first and this service works on what the built site then receives. It can be bought on its own or as part of that programme, and the audit decides how much of the programme a business actually needs.

Who this work is for, and who it is not for

It is for you if people already arrive and most of them leave. You have a site that works, one thing you want a visitor to do, and enough arrivals each month that a change can be told apart from a coincidence. Often you are already paying for search or for ads, and the enquiries have not moved in proportion to the spend.

It is not for you if you have no site yet. That is a build, and web design is the service for it. It is also not for you if the site launched last month and almost nobody has seen it yet, or if there is nobody free in the business to answer enquiries when they start arriving. Making more people ask, in a business that cannot reply, moves the failure one step further down the line and charges you for moving it.

What you get from conversion rate optimization

Four things, and the first of them decides whether the other three can be judged at all.

  • A diagnosis built on evidence, not opinion

The work starts in your own numbers. They show where visitors arrive, what they do, and where they stop. Analytics and conversion tracking are put in working order first, because a change made without a baseline cannot be judged, only admired.

  • Changes with a reason attached

Each change names the evidence behind it and the number it is supposed to move. The form that asks too much, the step that hides its one job, the button that promises nothing. Nothing is redesigned for taste.

  • A before and an after, in writing

Every change is measured against the baseline it was meant to move, and the monthly report says what worked, what did not, and what we changed because of it. Failed changes are reported in the same sentence structure as successful ones.

  • The compounding

A site that converts better earns more from every channel at once. The search work brings visitors to a site that now converts them, and the paid work buys arrivals that are no longer wasted. This is why the foundation is offered as one piece of work.

How a conversion rate optimization engagement runs

Instruments first, then diagnosis, then changes, in that order and no other.

The instruments

Analytics and conversion tracking, checked and repaired until the numbers can be trusted. On most sites we arrive at, something here is wrong.

The diagnosis

Where visitors stop, ranked by how much each stopping point costs you rather than by how easy it would be to change.

Changes, made in that order

Each one measured against its own baseline rather than against the site as a whole.

Monthly, against the written scope

The cycle repeats, and the report is judged against the scope agreed at the start rather than against whatever happened to look good that month.

There is one boundary worth stating early, and it protects you from paying for the wrong work. Tuning has a limit. If the diagnosis shows the site's structure itself is wrong, this service will not pretend otherwise. That finding moves the conversation to a rebuild, priced as its own decision, and the evidence that forced it comes with you.

What conversion rate optimization in Ghana has to account for

Most Ghanaian sites are not shops, and the conversion is rarely a checkout. Online retail is between 0 and 5% of all retail in Ghana, on Statista and ecDB's 2025 figures, and you can go and check them. What a visitor does here is usually to enquire. A call, a form, a WhatsApp message. Those conversions finish off the site, where most analytics setups never see them, which is why the first repair is nearly always the measurement rather than the site.

Where a checkout does exist, it has to take the money people actually use. Ghanaians moved GH¢4.54 trillion by mobile money in 2025, up 50.8% on the year, in the Bank of Ghana's 2025 Payment Systems Oversight Annual Report. A checkout offering only a card asks for payment in a way most of the country does not use.

And the phone is not one phone. StatCounter's Ghana figures for August 2026 put Android at 66.52% and iOS at 33.44%, so a third of the devices arriving are iPhones. A form that fails on one of the two loses a third of everything, or two thirds. Facebook alone sends 64.83% of Ghana's social referral traffic on the same source, so the visitors who arrive from social usually meet the site inside an app's own browser rather than in Chrome or Safari, and that is where we test it.

What is out of scope

Three boundaries, and the last of them is a refusal rather than a boundary.

Out of scope

Buying more traffic

More visitors is its own programme, scoped and priced on its own.

A rebuild

If the structure itself is wrong, that is priced in the open rather than absorbed quietly into tuning.

An uplift percentage

A refusal, not a boundary We do not promise one. A number promised before the diagnosis is a guess dressed as a guarantee, and you would be the one paying for the dressing.

What stays yours

Analytics, tag manager and testing accounts sit in your own accounts. That is one instance of a rule that covers everything paid to a third party. It is yours, and we never buy it on your behalf or mark it up.

  • Your analytics account
  • Your tag manager
  • Your testing accounts

What you need ready before conversion work starts

None of this is hard to produce, and having it ready is the difference between a first month spent measuring and a first month spent waiting for a password. Four of the five are a login. The fifth is the one that holds a start up.

Four things that are a login

Access you can hand over in an afternoon.

  1. Analytics and your tag manager

Administrator access to both, in your own name rather than a former developer's.

  2. The site itself

The login, or the name of whoever holds it.

  3. Any ad account already spending

The traffic it buys is part of what is being judged, so it has to be visible.

  4. Where enquiries actually land

The phone number or WhatsApp inbox, so the ones that never touch a form can be counted too.

One thing that is not

Nobody outside your business can supply it.

  1. What an enquiry is worth to you

Somebody has to be able to say, roughly, what an enquiry is worth and what happens to it after it arrives. Without that, every change gets judged on volume, and volume is the easiest number to move and the least worth moving.

When we refuse this work

Conversion rate optimization needs enough visitors to measure. On a site with too little traffic, a change cannot be told apart from a coincidence, and a report written on coincidence is fiction with charts.

If the audit finds the traffic is not there yet, we decline this service and say what has to come first. That refusal is the cheapest advice we offer.

Who does the work

Two parties do this work, and the line between them is published here rather than discovered in a handover. The diagnosis is the founder's own. Reading your numbers, deciding which stopping point costs you most, and choosing what changes and in what order. The delivery network builds each change and wires the tracking behind it, under his review.

Founder

Kwasi Wiafe Kwapong

He reads the analytics himself, decides which stopping point is costing you most, and approves every change before it reaches your live site.

The build of each change, and the tracking wired behind it, runs on a vetted delivery network under his review.

The diagnosis, the order of the changes and the reading of the results stay with him.

Held to these

What we put in writing

We are new, and there is no wall of uplift graphs here. No engagement has been documented with consent yet, and we will not invent one. What we offer instead are commitments you could hold us to by the end of the first week.

A printed report on a desk, a pen resting across a page of figures.

How you will know this is working

Three numbers move, and they move in an order. Ask for them in that order and you will not be flattered by the report.

The first is the count of enquiries the measurement can see, set against the number the business actually received. On most sites those two disagree at the start, sometimes badly, and closing that gap is the first month's work. Nothing after it can be trusted until it is closed.

The second is the stopping point that was fixed. One screen, one form, one step, measured against its own baseline rather than against the site as a whole, because the site as a whole moves for reasons that have nothing to do with us.

The third is the slowest and the one that decides everything, the share of all visitors who enquire, over a stretch long enough to mean something.

A bad month reads like this. A change was made, it was measured, and it lost, or too few people arrived for it to reach a verdict at all. Both go into the report in the words a win would get.

Questions we get asked about conversion rate optimization in Ghana

The ones that come up before anyone signs anything. The first two decide whether this service is the right thing to buy at all, and both are answered against the sale rather than for it.

What is conversion rate optimization?

It is the work of getting more of the people already arriving on your site to do the thing the site exists for. An enquiry, a booking, an order. None of it involves buying more visitors. It starts by measuring what visitors do now, finds where they stop, and changes those points one at a time so that each change can be judged on its own.

How much traffic do I need before this is worth doing?

Enough that a change can be told apart from a coincidence. There is no single number, because it depends on how many of your visitors already convert. What we can tell you is that we check before taking anything on, and if the traffic is not there yet we decline the work and say what has to come first.

What does conversion rate optimization cost in Ghana?

Nothing is priced before the audit. What drives the cost is what the audit finds. How much of the measurement is broken to begin with, how many places visitors are stopping, and how much of the site each fix has to touch. A figure named before that examination is a guess, and you are the one who pays when a guess turns out wrong.

Can you guarantee a percentage uplift?

No, and be careful with anyone who does. A number promised before the diagnosis is a guess dressed as a guarantee. What we commit to instead is that every change is measured against the baseline it was meant to move, and that the report says plainly when a change did not work.

Most of my enquiries come by WhatsApp and phone. Can those be counted?

Yes, and on most Ghanaian sites that is the first thing we fix. A click on a WhatsApp button or a phone number can be recorded as a conversion, which tells you where it came from. What happens inside the chat afterwards stays outside the tracking, so somebody in the business still has to say which of those enquiries turned into work.

How long before I see a change?

The first month is mostly instruments. Analytics and conversion tracking have to be trustworthy before any change can be judged, and on most sites we find something wrong with them. Real changes start after that, and each one needs enough visitors to reach a verdict. Anyone promising a jump in the first week is not measuring anything.

Do I need a whole new website instead?

Sometimes, and the diagnosis is what tells us. Tuning has a limit. If the structure of the site is the reason people leave, no amount of changing buttons will fix it, and we will say so rather than hand you months of tuning. That finding moves the conversation to a rebuild, priced as its own decision, and the evidence that forced it comes with you.

Who owns the analytics and testing accounts?

You do. They are set up in your own name, they sit in your own accounts, and they stay with you if we stop working together. That holds for everything paid to a third party on this service. It is yours, we never buy it on your behalf, and we never mark it up.

What conversion rate optimization costs in Ghana

Nothing is priced before the audit.

The audit examines your current digital state and produces two things together, a written itemised scope and the fee that matches it.

What moves the figure on this service is what that audit finds. How much of the measurement is broken and has to be rebuilt before anything can be judged. How many separate places visitors are stopping. How many templates a single fix has to touch. And whether the site can be changed by us at all, or whether every edit has to queue behind someone else's developer.

If the audit shows the work cannot justify the fee, or the traffic is not yet there to measure, we say so and decline. Our pricing explains what drives cost, and it quotes nothing, on purpose.

Start with a call

Tell us what a visitor is meant to do on your site, roughly how many arrive in a month, and how enquiries reach you today. You will hear whether there is enough traffic to tell a change apart from a coincidence, what we would measure first, and whether we are a fit. Nothing is priced or signed on the call.

Every enquiry gets a reply within one working day.
